AX880 is an Industrial AX (WiFi 6), dual-band, open-source Wireless Access Point based on the latest OpenWRT system compiled for this hardware. It's intended for environments requiring many concurrent clients, such as public spaces.
Of course, those who don't like to compromise use it at home or in an office.
It supports MU-MIMO, Wave2.0, OFDMA, Seamless Roaming, 160M bandwidth.
In our tests, it delivers a full gigabit data transfer in AX mode.
It's officially supported by the latest OpenWRT 24.10.0-rc2.
This device can be powered in two different ways:
- Using a POE-enabled network switch or
- Standard 12V power adapter.
The POE switch such as TSW202 is more convenient because there's only one cable going to the device, so it's easier to mount it on a wall or ceiling.
