AX820-OAP is an AX (WiFi 6), dual-band, open-source, outdoor Wireless Access Point running the latest OpenWRT operating system.
The enclosure is made out of IP67 dustproof/waterproof plastic, making it suitable for harsh outdoor conditions. This device has the same capabilities as AX820-WRT ceiling access point, but it's made for harsher outdoor conditions.
It exposes two networks, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, both operating in AX (WiFi-6) mode. It supports MU-MIMO, Wave2.0, OFDMA, Seamless Fast Roaming.
In our tests, it delivers a full gigabit data transfer in AX mode.
This device should be powered with PoE. Either with a PoE switch of PoE injector. The POE switch such as TSW202 is more convenient because there's only one cable going to the device, so it's easier to mount it.
